Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. Lori and Bruce Halloway are the Master Distributor for Imperial Feet products in the US and Canada. Bruce and Lori have been married for 28 years and work together every day, striving to make the nail industry and products available to nail technicians the best it possibly can be.
Lori is an entrepreneur and is recognized as a leader in the nail industry by industry magazines like Nails Magazine, NailPro, American Salon, and TNG Magazine. She has an associate’s degree in Art and Science with a background in business. She is the creator of The Meticulous Manicurist Nail Tutorials, past owner of Voila Salon and Spa, where she sold after 20 years to work full time with her online business Meticulous Manicurist, author of Shear Savvy Secrets and Strategies for Successful Salon Apprenticeships and a patent-holding inventor of the only Ergonomically designed hand rest for Nail Technicians to prevent repetitive use injuries in nail technicians. She also accomplished 15 apprenticeship programs in 20 years in her salon as a licensed cosmetology school by the State of Michigan. Lori and Bruce now live in Surprise, Arizona, where they run their business.
Lori hopes to set a new standard and raise awareness of the importance of body ergonomics in the nail industry. Her objective is to help prevent repetitive use injuries by teaching proper methods to work on clients and extend the longevity of a nail technician’s career. Along with a solid commitment to continuing education, her knowledge, experience, and expertise in the nail industry continue to enhance the development of nail technicians worldwide.
Bruce Halloway is an entrepreneur and the manager of Voila Salon & Spa. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from Eastern Michigan University. Bruce works on product development and retail strategy to ensure that only the most efficient and effective products are available.
